Week 5 summary
In music we are doing Egyptian drumming with a drum called a Jeba*. You have to lift it of the ground for a better sound. If you don’t you still get a sound but not as fantastic. You can play it with 2 fingers to get a more bouncy sound or as many fingers as you want. We also listened to some famous composers music on the Jeba. Not all of us had a Jeba some of us got normal drums.

THIS IS ABOUT MY OUTSANDING TRIP TO THE RAGGED SCHOOL MEUSEM (Museum).THIS PLACE WAS BUILT MORE THAN 130 YEARS AGO TO EDUCATE POOR VICTORIAN CHILDREN BY A VERY GENOROUS MAN CALLED DR.BERNARDO.AFTER 1901 THIS PLACE WAS TURNED INTO A MEUSEM.
FIRST OF ALL WE WENT WITH COLIN (WHO IS A VERY FUNNY MAN)TO LOOK AT A VICTORIAN KITCHEN.HE SHOWED US A MANGLE WHICH WAS A PRETTY DANGEROUS MACHINE.THEN HE SHOWED US THE LONG SOUP THEY USED AND HOW THEY WASHED THEIR CLOTHES AND OTHER STUFF.

Today I showed the school my recount. It was about my amazing day at the ragged school. I enjoyed the classroom best even though I was paralyzed with fear. I still enjoyed it.
