Here are just some of the facts we've learnt about Highwaymen and about our poem...

Shayna- Highwaymen stop rich people and say “Stand and deliver!”
Shikaila- That the highwayman used to rob coaches.
Erika- He isn't really a good man because he robs coaches
Precious- He says to Bess, “I'll be back with jewellery- Gold”
Adam- a Highwayman isn’t just one person.
Chloe- If you're a Highwayman, you might be caught by King George's men
Daniel- In the poem, the Highwayman loved Bess
Bilal- Highwaymen lived in Waltham Forest
Sara- We know why Bess got caught.
Ben- Bess fell in love with the Highwayman and Tim got angry
Nicole- The Highwayman was bad but he still loved Bess
Aadil- The Highwayman is 1/2 bad. 1/2 good
Shikaila- Bess shot herself because the Highwayman liked her first and then Tim, she shot herself to warn the Highwayman that there was a trap
Precious- I learnt what a pistol is.
Toba- Most Highwayman are quite ruthless
Chloe- Tim the Ostler loved Bess
Assia- If you're a Highwayman, you won’t live a safe life because soldiers would try to get you.
Nicole- I learnt what an Ostler is.
Nafisah- I learnt that in 1605-1800, highwaymen were very popular.
Nargese- I learnt that highwaymen rob day and night. I didn’t know that highwaymen could be in love with girls because they are robbing at day and night.
